The Village Homeschoolers

Homeschooling has been steadily growing over the last decade, but at the beginning of 2020, the movement took off at breakneck speed. Now, homeschooling is becoming mainstream, and the knowledge and resources available for homeschoolers grows every day. But what about after you’ve picked out a math curriculum and bought some brand-new school supplies? What do you do, then? How do you handle this day-in and day-out task of educating your children and remaining sane? Homeschooling families need support; they need companionship; they need the village. Enter The Village Homeschoolers: We teach home-educating families how to find and create the community they need to be successful. Brittany has homeschooled her three children for six years. She has belonged to multiple homeschool groups and co-ops and currently runs a cooperative in New England with other homeschooling parents. She is passionate about child-led learning, literature-based education, and community building, as well as empowering families to homeschool.

Jen has homeschooled her son for seven years. She explored homeschooling communities in the Northeast before joining a homeschool cooperative, where she is currently a leader. She loves science, project-based learning, agriculture, and letting kids be kids. Her goal is to inspire other families to create their own homeschooling communities.
